{"id":738,"date":"2022-05-18T19:24:20","date_gmt":"2022-05-18T17:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spsympo23.pwr.edu.pl\/?page_id=738"},"modified":"2023-08-28T15:12:40","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T13:12:40","slug":"instruction-for-authors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/spsympo23.pwr.edu.pl\/instruction-for-authors\/","title":{"rendered":"Instruction for Authors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AUTHOR REGISTRATION GUIDELINES<\/strong>:   An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings <strong>only if<\/strong> the registration payment for at least one of the Authors is received and correctly processed by 12 June 2023, and the Author will attend the Conference to present his\/her paper.&nbsp;If the paper is submitted to the YSC Contest &nbsp;the first Author of the paper should present the paper by himself\/herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Authors,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We thank you for submitting papers on the symposium topics. For the SPSympo-2023 Symposium you should prepare your paper following the guidelines below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only papers in English will be accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The submitted manuscript (in pdf format) should be camera-ready and compliant with the general standards of the IEEE (IEEE templates Microsoft Word A4 or LaTeX).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Noncompliant manuscripts will not be considered for review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommended length of extended abstract: 2 \u2013 4 A4 pages, and full paper: 4 \u2013 6 A4 pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp; <\/strong>REVIEW PAPER<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We invite the prospective Authors to submit their abstracts of 4 pages maximum (including diagrams and illustrations). The final deadline for the upload to the paper submission site for review is no later than <strong>23:59 CET on <em><s>12 February<\/s><\/em>  <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><s>24 February 2023<\/s><\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend all Authors to use the standard IEEE conference proceedings A4 format template (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html<\/a>) for review papers, as the same format is MANDATORY for the final paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will invite successful Authors to submit their<strong> full papers of 6 A4 pages maximum by 30 June 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-decoration:line-through\">II.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp; <\/strong>POSTERS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-decoration:line-through\">The poster size should be A0 (841\u00d71189 mm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-decoration:line-through\">The Authors should have the posters prepared when arriving at the Conference. As t<strong>here is no possibility of printing the posters on-site!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-decoration:line-through\">However, we can arrange  printing of your poster<strong> on condition that <\/strong>a ready-to-be-printed poster (in a pdf format) will have <strong>to arrive by 11 August 2023 at the latest<\/strong>. Please tick the appropriate box in your registration form if you are interested in exercising this option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> <\/strong>FINAL PAPERS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must upload your final paper version to the paper management system before the deadline <strong>30 June 2023 (at the latest<\/strong>). The use of the publication <strong>template is mandatory <\/strong>for acceptance of your publication into IEEE Xplore. Before submitting the final paper, please double-check:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you have chosen the correct files and settings for A4 page size and conference paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the pdf file is IEEE Xplore-compatible already verified with the IEEE PDF eXpress service (<a href=\"https:\/\/ieee-pdf-express.org\/\">https:\/\/ieee-pdf-express.org\/<\/a> Conference ID: 57300X)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please follow strictly the templates from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the final version, please remove &#8220;XXX-X-XXXX-XXXX-X\/XX\/$XX.00 \u00a920XX IEEE&#8221; in the footer (in the template).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The correct format for the Paper Title is non-bold, non-italic and uses the \u201epaper title\u201d style in MS Word.
