You are welcome to submit papers on any of the symposium topics, prepared for SPSympo-2019 Symposium according to the following guidelines.
All papers must be written in English.
Prospective authors are invited to submit an abstract of 4 pages maximum (including diagrams and illustrations). Your paper should be uploaded to the paper submission site (https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=25244) for review by the TPC not later than 23:59 CET on 24th February 2019.
We recommend all authors to use the standard IEEE conference proceedings A4 format template (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) for review papers, as the same format is MANDATORY for the final paper.
All submissions must be done with EDAS paper management system. If you do not have EDAS account, start with creating one in advance of the deadline, as this may be a slow process. Then register your paper (title, authors, abstract) early – you will be allowed to upload the PDF until the deadline.
Successful authors will be invited to submit a full paper of 6 A4 pages maximum by 30 June 2019.
Your final paper version should be uploaded to the paper management system before the deadline announced in the “important dates” section (30 June 2019 the latest). The use of the publication template is mandatory for acceptance of your publication into IEEE Xplore. Before submitting the final paper, please make sure that:
- you have chosen the correct files and settings for an A4 page size and conference paper.
- the pdf file is IEEE Xplore-compatible and has been checked with IEEE PDF eXpress service.
Please follow strictly the templates from http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
The correct format for the Paper Title is non-bold, non-italic and uses the „paper title” style in MS Word. Please check this before you attempt to upload the paper. Submitted manuscript (in pdf format) should be camera ready and compliant with the general standards of the IEEE (IEEE templates Microsoft Word 2003 A4 or LaTeX). Noncompliant manuscripts will not be considered for review. Recommended length of full paper: 4 – 6 A4 pages.
Poster size should be A0 (841×1189 mm) There is no possibility of printing the posters on-site!
The authors should have the posters prepared when arriving to the conference venue. There are printing service points in the Cracow city center.
Or there will be an option to have the poster printed by the Organizers. In such a case, ready-to-be-printed poster (in a pdf format) will have to arrive by August 12, 2019 the latest. Please tick the appropriate box in your participant registration form (NOT the paper registration form) if you are interested in exercising this option.
