POSTERS

Poster size should be A0 (841×1189 mm)
There is no possibility of printing the posters on-site! The authors should have the posters prepared when arriving to the conference venue. There are printing service points in the Warsaw city center.


FINAL PAPERS

Your final paper version should be uploaded to the paper management system before the deadline announced in the “important dates” section (June 30, 2017 the latest).
The use of the publication template is mandatory for acceptance of your publication into IEEE Xplore. Before submitting the final paper, please make sure that:

  • you have chosen the correct files and settings for an A4 page size and conference paper.
  • the pdf file is IEEE Xplore-compatible and has been checked with IEEE PDF eXpress service.
Please follow strictly the templates from http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
The correct format for the Paper Title is non-bold, non-italic and uses the „paper title” style in MS Word. Please check this before you attempt to upload the paper.
IEEEXplore compatibility
Your final paper should be IEEEXplore compatible, which includes:
  1. Being PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 5) or later but not Acrobat 9.
  2. Being created with a PDF distiller (converted by PDF eXpress or created with pdflatex and checked by PDF eXpress) and not scanned.
  3. All fonts must be embedded or subsetted.
  4. No password or other security settings.
  5. No bookmarks or links.
  6. No PDF attachments.
The full acceptance of the final paper is subject to following conditions:
AT LEAST ONE AUTHOR must register and pay the conference fee by 30 June 2017.
It is IEEE policy to include papers in IEEE Xplore only when the authors have attended the conference and presented their work.

Before Creating a PDF
Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.
Creating your PDF eXpress Account
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site
First-time users should do the following:
  1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
  2. Enter the following:
    • 38258X for the Conference ID
    • your email address
    • a password
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Contacting PDF eXpress Support
Access the Publications Support Center for IEEE PDF eXpress.
If you do not find an answer in the Find Answers tab, go to the Ask A Question tab. Your question will be forwarded to IEEE PDF Support and answered within 3 business days.

The full acceptance of the paper is subject to a condition that AT LEAST ONE AUTHOR registers and pays the conference fee until 30 June 2017.


Information:

Authors are invited to submit papers on any of the symposium topics. All papers must be written in English. Submitted manuscript (in pdf format) should be camera ready and compliant with the general standards of the IEEE (IEEE templates Microsoft Word 2003 A4 or LaTeX). Noncompliant manuscripts will not be considered for review.

Recommended length of full paper: 4 - 6 A4 pages.

Select Save when the File Download window appears. The files cannot open directly from the server. When using LaTeX IEEEtran style, please keep in mind to change to a4 paper ( \documentclass[conference,a4paper]{IEEEtran} ).


The terms of the Young Scientist Contest

For the best contestants numerous awards and honorary mentions are provided for the best paper and the best poster presentation thanks to the SPSympo-2017 Sponsors.

To be considered for submission for "Young Scientists Contest" the following criteria should be fulfilled:

  • Candidate should be under 35 years old at the submission close. (His/her 35th birthday should be before June 30, 2017).
  • Candidate should be the first author of the paper and
  • He/she should present the paper by himself/herself.
  • The paper must be accepted for the Conference either for an oral or for a poster session.
